My aunt had a baby in the summer of 1962. She was sent to Piedmont Georgia to have the baby. Unfortunately my Aunt died of cancer before I was born‚ so we were never able to get a clear answer on what happened. My aunt had 2 more children who are listed as 2nd and 3rd children on their birth certificates so we are sure she has a first and presume the child was put up for adoption.
