I am desperate to find my birth family. All my life I have longed to know them. I have a big heart with a space held just for those I know are waiting to be found. My birth mother’s name may have been Muriel Williams. I was born at the Queen Victoria hospital in Johannesburg on the 3rd of January, 1951. I was adopted soon after birth by loving parents, Isobel and James Robertson. I believe that my birth name was Cheryl Deirdre. They changed my name to Geraldine Patricia. That means Beloved Sorrow and that has made me feel cherished.
