My birth family‚ Matthysen. I was born in Johannesburg in 1953 and legally adopted in 1955 although I was with my adopted family from August 1953. My mother died shortly after I was born of TB and an brother 2 years older than me was also adopted. The remainder of my 7 older brothers and sisters stayed with my birth father‚ Matthysen.
