My brother was given up for adoption as our mother was unmarried at the time. The DOB I have provided is the date we think it took place‚ more or less. The adoption took place in Johannesburg South Africa‚ my mother's name was Sheila Joan Egenes later married and surname was then Buckley. Her DOB was 23/04/1955‚ deceased 15/10/1997‚ she was christened in Durban (South Africa) on the 21st August 1955. We only found out about the adoption by chance about 25 years ago and have been searching for details ever since‚ but what we have is limited as the only person to know more is our mother who is deceased.
