The name I received at the Lanzhou orphanage was last name - Chen and first name - Li Xin. My records state that I was abandoned the day I was born and left in a roadside truck stop in the bathroom. I am not sure if Aug 15‚ 2003 is my actual birthday. I spent the first 6 months in an orphanage and then the next 18 months in a foster home. It was there that I was badly burned by scalding water. I spent a few months in the hospital and then returned to the orphanage. I was adopted at the age of 3‚ in October‚ 2006.
