I was fortunate to choose a lovely family that I immediately felt a connection with. Especially the adoptive mother whose name was Ellen. Ellen and Shared many wonderful conversations prior to the adoption and she shared photos and letters for the first 5 years of my daughter’s life. I know her husband’s name was David and they had a young son together at the time of the adoption. Ellen always promised me that she would tell my daughter about her adoption and how much I loved her also when it was an appropriate time in her life. My hopes are that Ellen did just that and my daughter is somewhere out there looking for me as well!
