I am looking for any family member. Mother, Father, Brothers, Cousins, etc. I would just like to make any willing connection if possible. I don’t have much information and unfortunately it was a closed adoption in FL. My adopted surname of Johnson is all I have to go by, but it would not have been my birth name. I was born in Hillsborough County Hospital on July 20, 1975 according to my birth certificate (from adoption records). I am an african american male. I understand that I am the youngest to be born and the only child that was given up for adoption. I am said to have 6-7 older brothers. My parents were both school teachers and I’m assuming of African American decent. It has been said my father was an african american math teacher in Tampa in 1975. I may have been born from an extra marital affair that wasn’t widely accepted then. I’m thankful my Mother still decided to give me life and don’t judge the circumstances. The hospital I was born in is also said to have burned down since then and many records that may have once been available are also now lost. I would just really love to know where I came from and let any family members that are out there know I’m ok. I hope someone would be open to talking and maybe meeting one day. This is a complete shot in the dark and I have no idea if my siblings even know I exist.
