I was adopted in Tampa, FL and am in search of any members of my birth family. I was born 8/1/81 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. From what I was told, the adoption was arranged prior to my birth, by an attorney firm with the last name of Dickey, and my adoptive parents, Rick and Judy Heimlich, took me home on 8/5/81. From what I was told: * Mom - was in her mid 30s when I was born, 5’3", bookkeeper, born in Tampa, Irish descent * Dad - was in his mid 30s, possibly early 40s when I was born, 5’3", accountant, Cuban descent * I was put up for adoption because my parents were going through a divorce. There was suspicion that my mom hadn’t been faithful, which may be true as my recent DNA results showed absolutely no evidence of Hispanic ancestry. * I also had a half brother and a half sister that were 14 and 15 when I was born. Would love to meet any family. I don’t need a kidney, lol, nor do I want money. I just want to know more about my roots.
