I am helping my first cousin search for her half-brother‚ who was placed for adoption shortly after birth. Here is what we know: * Birth year: Most likely 1964 (possibly as late as 1965) * Sex: Male * Birth location: Believed to be West Palm Beach‚ Florida‚ or possibly Henderson‚ North Carolina * Birth father: Richard Saxon Jr. * Birth mother: Believed to be Neva Blackwell (the spelling of her first and/or last name may be incorrect) We believe his birth mother was very young and still in high school when he was born and that she placed him for adoption. Very few people in our family knew about him‚ so information has been limited. My father remembered his mother’s name many years later‚ which is how we have this lead. I have tested my DNA on multiple genealogy websites‚ and so has other family‚ but we have not found a match that appears to be him. It’s possible he has never taken a DNA test or has chosen to keep his results private. If any of these details sound familiar‚ or if you think you may be the person we’re searching for‚ we would be grateful to hear from you. There is absolutely no pressure or expectations—we simply hope to make contact and give him the opportunity to know his biological family‚ if he wishes.
