I am looking for my birth mother... I was born in Gainesville FL at Alachua General Hospital on August 10th 1985 I’m about 5’7" with curly black/dark brown hair. I was also adopted in the same city to a loving family thru what I believe was a private Christian adoption agency. I’m bi-racial (black & white) as far as I know my mother was white and my father was black. I know she had finished college already and was working in town when I was born. So I�m guessing she was between 20-23 when I was born. She did know my father and he knew about her decision. The biggest piece of information that I have is a letter my mother wrote to me and my adoptive parents telling about her life and struggles and reasons for her decision. She dated the letters 7/28/1985. She had a younger sister who was 3 years younger. Her parents were both very active in the church. She told me in the letter that the biggest thing that she wanted for me was for me to be raised with a giving heart and a strong Christian background. I honestly mostly want to meet her to share with her who I am and thank her for the great life she provided for me through her decision. :)
