The record documented that you were born on May 13‚ 1958‚ in the General Hospital‚ Coral Gables‚ Florida‚ delivered by Dr. Irving Seaman. You weighed 7 pounds‚ 1 ounce and were 20 inches long. You were placed with your adoptive parents when you were less than three days old. The placement was arranged by Mr. Freedman‚ your adoptive parents’ attorney‚ and your adoptive’ s father employer. The birth mother signed a specific consent to the adoption after you were born‚ in which she waived all rights to you and all notices to any proceedings regarding the court case. BIRTH MOTHER Unfortunately‚ your birth mother was not available to be interviewed‚ therefore‚ the attorney who was interviewed stated that your adoptive mother was married‚ but separated‚ but had not yet divorced from her husband‚ which caused there to be a legal father in this matter. The attorney stated that he had made several attempts to locate your birth mother‚ who he believed had left the area. He stated that he would try to speak with the attorney who handled the previous adoption of your birth mother’s oldest child to see if he would be able to assist with locating her‚ and if not‚ how he should proceed with the case. Mr. Freedman‚ the attorney‚ stated that he had made the arrangement with your birth mother for the adoption prior to your birth. He stated that he was sure that your birth mother worked as a photographer in clubs and on hotels on the beach. Mr. Freeman stated that he was unsure if she did much work as a photographer as she resided with her boyfriend‚ who was also a photographer. Although she resided with him‚ she stated that he was not your natural father but stated that the natural father was someone she met in Las Vegas when she went there to work about a year ago. Mr. Freedman stated that he met your birth mother around Christmas time in another lawyer’s office. She came to him later‚ when her boyfriend got into trouble with the law‚ and then again‚ a little later when she got pregnant and wanted to have her baby placed for adoption after it was born. She asked him to select the adoptive parents. According to Mr. Freedman‚ your birth mother represented herself as a single woman‚ 28 or 29 years old‚ who had been born in a Plains state. She stated to Mr. Freedman that she had two or more other children‚ all born out of wedlock‚ some of whom she had placed for adoption.
