This is the updated information regarding my biological family search. Recently,I found some adoption related papers. Agency involved with private adoption: Children’s Home Society, Gulf Coast Division. Tampa, Pinellas County, Florida. Possibly born in St. Petersburg Hospital. Alleged to believe it was a Private adoption/closed adoption. The address on the adoption papers with the agency involved is: The Children’s Home Society Of Florida (Gulf Coast Division) address : 2554 Twenty-second Ave. South, St Petersburg Florida 33712. There is an attorneys name on the paper- work ( H. A. Hendry, Attorney at Law). It looks like the adoption may have been in July of 1964.. I found a copy of the FINAL DECREE OF ADOPTION No. 145652-C. These papers are signed and dated March 18,1965. By CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE Oliver C. Maxwell. The ADOPTION PLACEMENT AGREEMENT is dated and signed July 7, 1964 by Betty Strayer (Agent Representative) and of course by my adopted parents (Albert W. Schneider & Ruth A Schneider). I have been told my birth mother was creative and in college. No one really knows the whole truth. My parents were very old fashion and very private. They moved to Tampa,FL from Buffalo NY and had already adopted a son. (Gary )he was named. He is 10+ my senior . I am looking for bioliogical parents and or biological family members . I have some health concerns as well as do my daughters. I am open to learning about bioliogical family history and hopefully meeting blood relatives. I can’t explain the void I feel in my heart. I hope the information I have been able to provide is helpful to you and your search if you are searching for an baby girl who was given up for adoption in St. Petersburg, Pinellas county, FL in May, June or July of 1964. The final adoption decree is dated March 18th 1965 please message me if you have questions or on a possible match. DNA test done and available on My Ancestry.com as well as My Heritage.com.
