I am her grandmother. My son wanted his daughter. But several lawyers told us that because he wasn’t married to the birth mother he had no rights. He would never get her. He has been trying to find her for years. I have been helping him. He called the bm a couple of times. She told him very little the first time and hung up on him after that. I found her father on FB and reached out to him with no responses. The BM immediately blocked us from her FB page. We want her to know‚ we were told that her name is Jennifer‚ that she has an 18 year old sister and 16 year old brother. My son is a single father and has been since the kids were 3 and 5. Their mother has nothing to do with them. So‚ to have their older sister in their lives would be such a wonderful thing.. My granddaughter’s adoption was done through a lawyer. He was the lawyer for Legacy Dolls Corperation owned and operated by Terri DeHtre‚ hr BM’s mother. We were told that the adopted parents were friends of Terri’s who live in California and he was a preacher.
