I don’t know your adopted last name, Larry. Only that you were fostered by a lovely family when you were about two, and that our mom allowed them to adopt you sometime in the late 70’s (or possibly early 80’s) . I have always wanted to actively look for you, but I have been afraid that you don’t want anything to do with your bio family and would completely understand if that is the case. But I have kept my maiden name in part so that you could find me if you ever wished and I’ve come here to let you know that I would love the chance to talk with you. Even when I was two, you were my baby, and I guarded you jealously. Losing you left a hole in my life that, even 50 years later, has never been filled because it is the space that belonged only to you. I understand if I am part of a past you do not wish to claim. Reach out to me or not, as makes you happy. I just want you to know that there is a sister out there who has always loved and missed you and daily wishes you every happiness life can offer.
