My name is Paige McClain Ramsey. My aunt and uncle‚ Katherine and Jerry Glidewell adopted a female born in New Orleans‚ LA on January 23‚ 1968 and placed through Sellers. They named her Katherine Dee "Kadee" Glidewell and took her home to Florida. About 5-6 months after receiving her‚ my uncle declared that he was having an affair with his secretary‚ and that my aunt would have to take Kadee back because he was filing for divorce and not going to pay child support for her. They had previously adopted a son through Sellers born June 8‚ 1966 and named him Ramsey Wayne Glidewell. He remained with my aunt and that adoption was finalized. Kadee was returned to Sellers and we assume placed with another family. All I would like is to find out whatever became of her and to let her know that we have thought about her all these years. My aunt is now in her 80s and what a gift it would be to be able to tell her the outcome. I have her birthdate because my grandmother had a charm bracelet with a charm for every grandchild‚ and she NEVER removed that charm after Kadee was returned.
