I was born in central Florida‚ and all I know is my biological mother came from Alabama to give birth to me in Rockledge/Melbourne area in July of 1994. I’ve been searching since 2012‚ but the only information I have is that my biological mother was young-or-so woman with blue eyes. Beyond that‚ all I’ve been told is that I have brothers and sisters (unsure of amount) and that my biological father wasn’t going to be in the picture in any manner and couldn’t be located for the first year of my adoption process to confirm or deny his claim to parental rights. I was given a brown teddy bear and a letter explaining why I was given up for adoption‚ stating it was so “You(me) could have an opportunity for a better life than I could provide” and noted “..I hope you don’t go through life hating me because this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do..”. The letter ended with referring to me as “little one”. The attorney who handled the adoption has since passed and I’ve been unable to locate any official paperwork relating to the adoption‚ as well as my adoptive mother a few years later so I’m unable to get more details.
