I recently discovered that my birth mother is Barbara Ann Whitewolf. Unfortunately‚ she passed in 2007 as did my birth grandmother Cynthia Ann Parker Whitewolf in 2008. I’m sure at the time of my birth‚ this was quite an ordeal and they wished to keep this private. If I had learned this while they were alive‚ I would not have included their names out of respect for their privacy. I would like to know more about Barbara’s life‚ the Parker/Whitewolf rich Comanche history. (2024 update: My husband and I attended the Comanche Fair in Lawton‚ OK to begin to understand my maternal family history. I have learned my birth father is Bruce Cowan of Kissimmee‚ FL who passed away at the age of 33. His mother is Dorothy Evelyne Davison (maiden name) Cowan Kuhn. I am stumped researching my paternal blood lineage as I learned Dorothy was also adopted.
