I was known as Baby Butler for the first week in the Winter Haven Hospital. All I have is my birth father’s last name and that is Butler. I was adopted by Frank and Pauline Alexander when the adoption was finalized. The administrator of the hospital was Robert Besserer. As I understand the adoption was private but Children’s Home Society in Lakeland had a lot to do with this adoption. I also know my birth Father was stationed in Alaska in the Army!
