Hey, My name is Ashley Fernandez. I was born in Miami, Florida on October 15, 2002. I was taken from my mother (April) temporarily when I was about 4 years old and my younger brother was about 3. We were placed with our grandma (Linda). where we were placed into DCF due to the situation in that home. The last time we saw our mom we were about 6 (me) and 5 (brother) she had just given birth to our younger sister (Keke). The adoption agency that handle our adoption was called Our Kids of Miami Dade, it’s closed down. A couple of our caseworker’s names was Aura and the other was Ms.Jenkins which I only remember because my biological last name was Jenkins. The name my mother named me was Ashley N Jenkins. I put N because my mom should know what N means. I am currently 18 years old about to be 19 years old in about 2-3 weeks and the only thing that would make my birthday better would be for my brother and me to see our mom again.
