- I’m looking for my half-sister (we share the same father) who was adopted directly after her birth‚ which I’ve been told was in October of 1989. My understanding is that it was a closed adoption at a hospital in Tampa‚ Florida. - My father’s name is Matthew Bradford Maxwell and the mother of my half sister was Michelle or "Shelly" Berry (maiden name). I’ve done some research and I believe Michelle’s married name is now Michelle Bryant. My dad was never married to Michelle. - Since it was a closed adoption‚ I have no idea if my half-sister is even aware of being adopted or if she knows any information about her biological parents. My dad has never had any contact with her or heard from her.
