I was 19 and had no support to keep my baby. The baby was born at University Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, and was a boy. I was not allowed to see or hold him after he was born as that was how Catholic Charities preferred it be done. As mentioned, the adoption was handled through Catholic Charities
