I was born in Tampa Florida at Tampa General Hospital on March 14, 2001. It was a closed adoption and it occurred the literal day of my birth. My adoptive parents were in the room with my birth mother as she gave birth to me, and shockingly enough, my adoptive parents’ names are on my birth certificate because of this, so I have no names or records to go off of. My adoptive parents’ names are Ramon Luis Sandin (born and raised in Puerto Rico) and Mayra Milagro Lopez-Cepero (also born and raised in Puerto Rico). I know that my birth mother was 15 when she was pregnant with me and had consensual sex with a man supposedly in his 30’s. I have been told he is in jail for statutory rape, but cannot confirm this information as my parents frequently lie about information to confuse me. Let me tell you, I know for certain that my birth mother was Canadian and my birth father was Puerto Rican.
