The Year may have been 1975/76 ... My name is Melinda Morton Meredith.....My name at the time of the adoption was Melinda Lee Morton......I was 15 years old and very pressured to do this by my family..... My son’s DOB is August 28th...He was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fl and I am pretty sure the adoption was handled by Catholic Social Services....My case is a little different since I went on to later marry this childs father and have another son with him......so my adopted baby has a full brother and a half sister, who I had later with my next husband.....I have waited all of these years because I didn’t want to intrude on the adoptive family....but I feel my son derserves to at least know that he has siblings in this world and to have the choice of meeting them or not....thank you so much for anything you can do to guide me in the right direction.
