Hi, I was born in Tallahassee, Florida 04/27/1970. I was born at Leon County Hospital. My birth mother had complications giving birth and I was in foster care for about 5 months and then my birth mother came and got me. My biological mother kept me for approx. 5 months until she decided she could not give me the best life possible. It was a closed adoption and I was in foster care until 1972 in Tallahassee, Florida. I am humbled by my biological mother’s strength to give me up. I know it was a difficult decision to make. My biological mother had also been adopted and must not have had a very good relationship with her adopted parents. That is why she came to get me and tried to keep me. My adopted parents are wonderful to this day and I thank God daily that I have had such a wonderful life. I am a nurse now and would like to know more medical information since I have a child also. But the truth is I would just love to see my biological parents, hear about theirs lives, see if I have any brothers and sisters out there. Since I am close to 48 years old now, I definitely do not need parents now. I just really want to see them! Curiosity is hard to live with! Any help would be awesome!
