Looking for birth mother. I am a male, born at 11:00 a.m. on September 15, 1977 at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. The doctor who delivered me was Dr. David Mobley. The adoption was arranged through him. The attorney who handled the adoption was Haldane Taylor. My parents were told that my birth mother was from Lake City (I think) and came to Jacksonville b/c she was not happy with the adoption in her home town. They were told that she went to Planned Parenthood thinking it was an adoption agency. They sent her to Dr. Mobley. Her name might have been Linda or Debbie. I have always wanted to "see her face" and would love to connect with her if she is willing. My parents are "so thankful to her for giving birth to this wonderful young man who has been a blessing to our family. We think of you often with love and gratitude especially on his birthday." Please know I love her, too, and am thankful for her selflessness, having children of my own now. At the very least, I would love for her to know she did a great thing, that I am well, that I have my own family, and that I think of her often. I hope she is doing well also.
