Trying to locate my birth father, who may not know anything about me. My birth mother was Edna Alice Reid Hellberg. She went by Alice Hellberg= at that time. July 14 1954 to Evelyn and Lawerence Legnon. The adoption took place within a week of my birth. I believe it was a private adoption between the birth mother- Alice and Evelyn and Larry, who had a daycare center in Tampa, and kept Alice’s other daughter Janice who was 2-3 years old.
