I did not find out until you were 6 years old that you had been born and put up for adoption. The same year you were born I was critically ill and not expected to live. I have always felt if I had not been ill either my daughter would have kept you or I would have. I have since recovered. I know that I had no control over getting so sick but it has been my biggest sadness ever since I found out. I hope and pray every day that you were well taken care of and can find it in your heart to forgive your biological parents and family.
