My son was born 07/22/2002 in Manatee Memorial Hospital. The adoption took place through DCF after failed attempts to regain custody by his father. I had legal issues at the time and was not given the option to legally bring him home, along with being in a violent domestic violence situation, hence me not fighting the adoption. My son was given the chance to be in a non abusive home and be given chances I could not at the time. The name given to him at birth (Anthony Dewayne Brown ll) was changed I believe, but he was originally named after his father. He is biracial, and when I last saw him before he turned 2, he looked exactly like his siblings all did at that age. He has an older brother from his father, a younger sister, born in 2005, 3 younger brothers from me as well as a younger brother and sister from his father.
