We are so hoping to locate and thank the birth mother for carrying her baby boy full term. We don’t know much except that birth mother was 18 or 19, and she was attending Mississippi University for Women, in Columbus, Mississippi when she got pregnant. Her dad relocated her to the Orlando or Sanford area for the birth, which happened on July 23, 1969. By that time, the young biological father was living in Biloxi, MS. He hitch-hiked to Orlando, looking, hoping to help out any way he could, but birthmother’s father was hiding her, so bio dad returned to Mississippi broken-hearted. The baby boy was adopted within a month of his birth by a kind caring couple. They were able to find the biological father recently, using Ancestry.com and a saliva sample from their son, who is almost 49-year-old now and married. It turned out that one of his younger brothers-from-another mother, had also registered at Ancestry.com. Finally In April of this year, 2018, the man who was adopted, was able to meet his biological father, via video chat. They talked like best friends for two hours. He’s now welcomed into his dad’s biological family. The family who adopted him is loving to our biological family now too. We hope to hear from the birth mother or her family soon. Sorry can’t quite remember birthmother’s name. Yvonne? Had a great music collection! Brunette? I’m the mother of the adopted guys younger siblings.
