*UPDATE* As of 1/16/20 I have finally been reunited with my biological family via Ancestry DNA. Unfortunately my birth mother has already passed away yet I have many Aunts‚Uncles‚1st cousins and my full biological older brother that have welcomed me back with unconditional love â�¤ï¸� My name is Tiffany and I’m an adoptee searching for my birth parents and 1 known older full male sibling‚ along with anyone else who may be in my biological family. My birth mother was 21 years old‚ my birth father was 26 years old and my full biological brother was 3 years old at the time I was placed for adoption at 9 months old (around June or July of 1975 (I was born October 12‚1974) in Ft. Lauderdale‚ Florida through Children’s Home Society. I was placed for adoption at 9 months old and adopted at 16 months old from Children’s Home Society in Ft. Lauderdale‚ Florida. I was in one foster home from 9 months old to the time of my adoption at 16 months old. My birth parents were still married at the time of my birth yet were supposedly going through a divorce. All the above info is from my non-id info and information provided from Children’s Home Society that was passed down to me from my adoptive parents. I received my Ancestry DNA results recently (January 2020) and I am completely lost as I have zero names as Florida is still a “sealed state”. I’ve been searching for over 30 years and starting to realize time is not on my side and that I may never find any information. Since my birth family kept me for my first 9 months‚ my birth name (only know 1st name) was Tiffany‚ which my adoptive parents kept as I already knew my name at 16 months old when I was adopted.
