I was adopted from a hospital in Volusia County, Florida. I believe the adoption was arranged before I was born. My birth certificate is amended so I don’t know how accurate any of the info is. My adoptive parents lived in NY and brought me to LI when I was just a few days old. I believe my adoption was finalized in NY so the records would be here. I do know the lawyer they used was named Walter Hennessey and he traveled to Florida with my adoptive father to get me. I don’t know how to gain access to records. The lawyer has since died and his office said many documents from the 70’s were destroyed in a flood before being transferred to electronic format. I have done Ancestry DNA. Possible connection to Muhovich family in Colorado?
