Our son was born in Orange Memorial Hospital, Orlando, Florida January 23, 1969. His adopted name is Steven Allen White. Adoption was finalized on October 16, 1969, in Sebring, Highlands County, Florida. The Honorable Clifton N. Kelly was the presiding judge. (Court Case Number 916.) Our attorney for the private adoption was Carl L. Thompson, Jr., through his office in Orlando, Florida. Steven spent his young childhood in Sebring, Florida, before our family moved to Orlando, Orange County, Florida. The White, Lanier and Albritton families are pioneers of Highlands County, Florida. He attended Orange County Public Schools in Orlando and now lives in Texas. Adopted parents are William Wayne "Bill" White and Peggy Albritton White. Bill passed away in 1997 and Peggy is presently living in Texas: Peggy Albritton-Hermanson. Any information relating to our family will be greatly appreciated.
