I was adopted by my grandmother and her boyfriend who became my father. The only name given besides their names was my biological mom. Her name is Gloria. My name given after adoption was Ashley Jeaneen Gonzales. The only other father ive ever known is not responding to me since ive asked for a DNA test which leads me to believe he is not my father. So that s why I am here. I once contacted the law office regarding my adoption and they were in a panic because I wanted to pursue finding my birth parents. Now im not trying to say I dont believe my parents now in regards to my birth parents but no one seems to want to help me. I am only trying to gain proof for my children who are adopted‚ of biological family history and family health history for when they are older. I don’t want them to ever have to feel the way I have or have the unanswered questions I have had my whole life. I was born in Zephyrhills Florida hospital. I was also adopted here in Pasco County‚ Florida in Dade City. I was raised here in Dade City my whole life and I don’t remember ever living anywhere else. I am told that Bloodworth was my last name before my adoption and that was the only thing changed was my last name. I was born June 13th‚ 1991. I have two sisters and 1 brother by my mother. I was adopted into the Gonzales/Groover/Bryant/Howell/McAlpine/Riley Families. Ever since Ive turned 18 and my adoptive father died my family just kinda slowly slipped away and Ive reached out to them but I get the treatment as if im not really wanted but even if that’s the case I still love them all and appreciate them taking me in and being my family while they were my family. I just want to know my biological family for my children. I owe it to them to have those answers for them when they are ready to talk... If you can provide me with any answers‚ contact me.
