Hi. I am trying to help my wife, Lisa Blankenship, find the name of her birth father, who is diseased. A few years ago, she found her birth mother, who unfortunately wants nothing to do with Lisa and won’t give her any information about her father. We know he was a prominent lawyer in Orlando, FL in 1968. He referred to himself as a "Greek god" (jokingly, I hope). In the adoption interview, Lisa’s mother said thought he might be Scandinavian, because he was tall and blonde. She (Lisa’s mother) was a legal secretary. She might have worked in the same offices as Lisa’s father, because my Lisa’s half-sister, Cathy. has said their mom saw him at parties. Their mom’s name is Karen Austin. As I said, above, she wants nothing to do with Lisa but her daughter Cathy and Lisa have become Facebook friends. A lot of this info comes from Cathy. Karen Austen worked for Bell South for many years, though I’m not sure when she started. Could Lisa’s dad have have been in-house counsel? We know he had at least one other child, and we know that he is dead. Lisa was born on September 16, 1968 at Orange Memorial Hospital.
