First off, and most importantly I am looking to have access to my family medical history. I am not looking for any handouts, or even anything you would be uncomfortable with sharing. I was adopted by Klaus and Joyce Schmidt in West Palm Beach Florida by a private lawyer firm that doesn’t seem to exist anymore.. I was born in Good Samaritan Hospital is West Palm Beach Florida on July 9th of 1985. 9:53 pm, 4lbs 5oz. My adopted parents picked me up when I was 4 days old. I think about my biological mom & dad & grandparents all the time now that I have daughters of my own, one adopted and one that I carried in my body. I would just like to have whatever you’re willing to share with me. maybe a letter, from my mother or my father (or both!?!), I don’t need an explanation (although I would be interested if you would be willing to tell me) or any relationship you don’t wish to have. I would simply like some photos of my biological family, and most importantly the names of the people who’s genetics I carry so I can protect my daughter if any diseases run in our genes. If you would be open to meeting and introducing ourselves, I hold no ill feeling for either of you and am simply curious about where my bloodlines come from. I would love to get to know you both and have more understanding and love in my life, My adopted parents did their best and love me very much, but I now know how strong a blood tie is, and I will always be interested in learning more about my blood family history.
