My Mom gave a Son up to the Florida Children’s Home Society. She was only 17 and Unwed so that was what Girls did in those days. She also was sent away from her home to Jacksonville, FL. She said she delivered at Baptist Medical Hospital on Oct 3rd 1964. She knew the child was a Male but never got to hold/see him. I’m 14 years younger than my Oldest Brother whom I think about often. I still live within an hour of Jacksonville. Our Mom just mentioned her Son two days ago and I am reaching out because I am hoping to connect and possibly meet this person. Our Mom is petite and had blonde hair and blue eyes. I would assume this Son would be on the shorter side with blonde hair/blue eyes but that’s just an assumption. This Son may have other siblings from the Fathers side but our Mom hasn’t been in contact since 1964 (?). This Son has one younger half brother (1970) and two younger half sisters (1974) and myself (1978).
