I am searching for my brother who was given up for adoption at time of birth in a hospital in St. Petersburg‚ FL by our mother who was a 17 yr old teenager that was unwed and unable to care for an infant at that time. Department of Children Services handled the closed adoption at the hospital which has since had name changed to Bayfront Medical. The baby boy was born at 6:12 and weighed 6lbs 12 ounces on 12/4/1959. The original birth certificate prior to adoption listed the mother’s name as Sue Kendrick and she had originally listed the name as Robert Allen Kendrick but it is my understanding the name was changed by adoptive parents during closed adoption process.
