My mother was never told that she was adopted and only came to find out after my grandparents had passed. She grew up in Cuba, however, she did receive a letter from a genealogy company stating she may have possibly been born in Florida though until that time, we had assumed she was born and raised in Cuba. The adoption would have taken place while she was a baby, she was born in March of 1952, however we are uncertain as to exactly when, or where it took place.
