My adopted brother was born in Saint Petersburg Florida at bayfront hospital. From my understanding the adoption agent/lawyer was a friend of the adopting parents. This was a closed adoption as far as I know but the birth mother wanted him to be able to search for his birth family when he got older. My birth brother was adopted at the time of birth. At the time of adoption the adopted parents lived in Clearwater Florida.
