My name is Angela Marie Brackett‚ my birthday is November 19‚1979 age 44 and I’m searching for my daughter Serenity Marie Brackett. She was born at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City‚ Florida on May 26‚2011 which makes her 13 yrs old now. Her name may have been changed upon adoption I’m not sure. She has two older sisters Faith Marie Lafountaine 21yrs old and Hope Marie Lafountaine 20 years old whom are very excited to find their sister they reside in Rhea County‚ TN. Her father is Jason Como which also lives in Panama City‚ Florida. Her grandmother‚ my mother is Carolyn Iolene Brackett whom had guardianship of Serenity until the department of children and families in Panama City‚ Florida decided she wasn’t in good enough health to keep Serenity. During that time I had to finish some legal matters which took 4 yrs so DCF terminated my rights due to the long period of time I was going to be gone and wouldn’t allow me to complete a case plan upon returning home from prison or even give me the opportunity to prove I was capable of being the mother Serenity needed. It’s broken my heart that this had to happen but I believe Serenity is old enough now to understand the situation we were in at the time of her birth. I never wanted to let her go but the courts made that decision and I couldn’t say anything in the matter. We love you Serenity and will never stop searching for you. Currently October 2024 I’m living in Pensacola‚ Florida and have gotten married. My husband is Kevin Bruce Johnson birthday is 12/31/1978 age 45 and he has a son named Hunter Johnson age 18 whom is Serenity’s stepbrother. Her grandmother Carolyn Brackett passed away on March 16‚ 2016 but she loved Serenity and did her best to provide a home for Serenity.
