I’ve always wanted to know what my roots are. Where I come from is everything. It’s like “home base” for me. I had adoptive parents that were amazing, but it’s still always that “what if” “not feeling like I really belong “ . I want questions answered, a sense of familiarity, feeling like I fit it somewhere, maybe a sense of purpose. Maybe I can take this experience and turn it into something where I help people just like me all over the world. Maybe that’s the purpose.
