I was born in Tampa, Florida in 1980 to Barbara "Bobbie" Faye Barber. She was 14 at the time I was born and according to my aunt Beverly, she was with several young men/boys around the time that I would have been conceived. Mom told me when I was 8 that my father’s name was Andy Bertram. However, when I did an AncestryDNA test, there were no links to either Bertram or Harrell (Andy’s mom’s maiden name). However, I do have SEVERAL genetic links to a family name of Hayward. My mom died 10 years ago, so I can’t exactly ask her if she remembers the names of any of the other guys. Basically, all I know is that my dad was in the Tampa area sometime between 1978 and 1979. More than anything, I just want to be able to meet my father and know where I come from.
