My Mom (according to my only living Uncle) was "sent away" when she became pregnant sometime towards the latter part of an unknown year (she wasn’t home at Christmas). Her name was Lorraine Frances Schneider and she was born on 11/19/1943. She was sent by her parents to a home of some sort in South Dade County in Miami, Florida. The sex of the baby she was made to give up for adoption is unknown. No information on hospital/doctor/agency. Her parents (my grandparents) were Lawrence and Muriel Schneider and they lived in North Dade County.
