I have been told I was born in Iowa but my mother went to high school in Illinois and that is where I last saw my grandmother. Apparently‚ my father tried to meet me when I was around ten years old but my mother told him she was not interested in him being in my life. Additionally‚ I was adopted by my mother’s husband when I was five so I think maybe my mother never named my father on my original birth certificate so they were able to push the adoption through the system without his approval. I have been told many different stories and it is frustrating and I should eb able to have the truth. Oh and there was a story about my dad dying in a car accident but later the story about him wanting to visit. And the name Lynn (Lyn‚ Linn?) has something to do with it all. My mother will not give me a clear answer.
