I’m a black male and I was born in a hospital in Orlando. My mother was in her teens when she had me and I was given up at birth and given over to Catholic Social Services. She sent me two or 3 letters in my life, all before I was 18. The last one was when I was around 15, I believe. I remember her telling me I have 4 (I believe) younger siblings (I’m the oldest). I remember her telling me I look a lot like her sister (I don’t know how many she has) and that her family is very musically inclined. I’m not sure, but my mother (adopted mother) told me that she believes my birth mother’s parents had vocations in education and/or were in the church, possibly pastors.
