I was born David James McCarthy . At Epsom Hospital in Surrey . My Birth mother was a Maureen McCarthy, she was 19/ 20 when I was born and was originally from Cork Ireland . She came to England I believe in 1960/61 . My Birth mother’s address back then was 43 Croham Manor Road , South Croydon Surrey . I was baptised on 7/10/62 at St Gertrude Church South Croydon.. My God Parents were a James and Joan Oconner. My Birth mother’s parents address was Glengarriff Co Cork . I was adopted from the Southwark catholic rescue society . On 13th August 1963 I was adopted and this trial was confirmed on Dec 2nd at Billericay juvenile court . I have had a great life with my adoption parents , and I would love to contact my birth mother to let her know I’ve had a good life ., It would be interesting to see how our paths have gone .
