Hi! I am on the search to build my family tree on my mom’s side of the family. My maternal grandmother’s biological mother is unknown. My grandmother was born in Witham‚ Essex‚ England on February 10th‚ 1934. As far as I know‚ her biological mother named her Rosemary‚ Joy. Her last name changed through adoption to Alexander. There is no known information on who her biological mother or father was. I do know that her biological mother was very young when she gave birth. I believe she was 16 or younger. My grandmother had a strong belief that she was adopted by a family member of her biological mother. She often mentioned that an “aunt” would come visit her and behave motherly towards her but then stopped visiting shortly after. I would love to find out this mystery.
