My birth mother was called Geraldine mcpeake , she was 16 when she had me , she was from downpatrick in Northern Ireland , she had 6 brothers , 1 was a accountant , and 2 working in the fathers business (painting and decorating), 3 brother said still at school .Geraldine was brought over to England to have me in a mother and baby unit in Essex , I was adopted 6 weeks later . Geraldine went on to get married to and had a boy called Johnny , who she walked out on when he was a toddler . After that she went on to have 2 girls . My birth father was called Malachy , he was 19 at the time , worked as a joiner , he was 5’6 , black hair , blue eyes .He was keen on hurling . Geraldine and Malachy were together a year , but when realised she was pregnant, they were out of touch . I am trying to find out as much information about my birth dad , but without a surname , it is very hard . If anyone knows anything wouldn’t be so grateful.
