My mother in laws name was Shiela Philomena Hawkins‚ and we can find no record of her birth. She dies 21st March 2010 We have her DOB as 11 July 1936 and we have always thought her parents were Margaret(ta) (Maiden name McGee) and Henry Hawkins. We know she had a passport so must have had a birth certificate/adoption certificate to obtain one. How can we find out it Henry and Margaret(ta)Hawkins adopted my mother in law‚ and if so how can we obtain a record of this
