My mother, Nancy Nadine Lagow was possibly adopted by Clinton and Glenyth ( Duke) Lagow, from Palma Duke, who is Glenyth (Duke) Lagow’s sister. Palma Duke was working at the Pentagon and had an affair with a married high ranking military official, possibly a General. Palma Duke teturned to Texas to give birth to the baby, either to San Angelo, Tx where Lagow’s lived, or Ft Wort, Tx where her parents lived or to Canton, Tx where a family friend lived. I was told by my Mother that she was adopted through the Edna Gladney Home, but after an investigation, the Home said they could tell me whether or not she was adopted through there, but the had no record of her birth, name or Palma Duke. So, being family, I assume it was a private adoption. There is a lot of mental issues in the Duke family, including Palma and my grandmother, Glenyth. Thank you so much for your help. None of these people mentioned are alive now.
